Public Involvement

ALDOT is commitmed to active and open public involvement in its investigation and remediation of the Coliseum Boulevard Plume ("CBP") to encourage and support community awareness of the CBP and related issues.

ALDOT has created the CBP Community Outreach Group ("COG"), comprised of nine volunteer community representatives who meet regularly with ALDOT to review pertinent information about the CBP.  In addition, ALDOT schedules and promotes public meetings, media events, and a 24-hour information line to maintain open and continuing dialog with interested parties who seek information about the CBP.
